The shoe is gorgeous. It’s super comfortable, light, and is made from quality materials. It’s one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. It’s hand-painted, so every shoe in this style will still be unique, which I love. Having said all these fantastic things about the shoe makes it all the more offensive that instead of having an actual clip they had a fake belt for aesthetics and have the shoe secured to the foot via Velcro. This shoe is a high-quality, premium shoe in terms of feel, material, and price, yet to disgrace such a well made and beautiful shoe with Velcro, VELCRO, is just an idiotic and cheap move from the company. Just tell us straight out that you participate in planned obsolescence and that you want to leech the most out of your customers and don’t care about your artists. I’m not even a shoe lover, but I cannot forgive Spring Step for this absolute atrocity to such a beautifully crafted piece of art.
