Nice fitting shoe and comfy, and the picture looks nice, but when I put them on, they looked like “old lady shoes”. Did not feel pretty at all. Sent them back.

The cute Freesia sandal was a real surprise. I didn’t expect it to be very comfortable after reading other reviews. The sole and leather footbed are flexible, well cushioned and great for someone looking for a FLAT sandal. The straps all adjust with velcro attachments. Open the straps FIRST, place your foot in, then adjust the straps. Don’t try to just slide your foot into the sandal. That didn’t work for me & I almost made the mistake of giving up & putting them back in the box. The straps have a very soft lining – man made material, not raw leather. The fit of the straps was wonderful, even across my super sensitive bunions and outer side of the feet, plus the straps are wide enough that my feet don’t “hang” over the edge of the footbed as in some other brands. This sandal is offered is several colors so it is nice if you are trying to match an outfit. The teal was perfect for me. I don’t know if the brand holds up as well as other higher priced sandals – never owned it before. This sandal may be a 1 or 2 season item. The footbed is not replaceable.

I wanted to love this shoe. The style is great. The cushioned sole is super comfortable. Love the decorations and adjustable straps BUT the shoe just didn’t fit. No matter how I tried to adjust the straps, my foot was too far back in the shoe leaving an unsightly amount of inner sole showing above my toes. I have medium width feet and had to adjust the straps as tight as they would go to get the shoe to stay on my foot. Perhaps a wider foot would position itself better but it just didn’t work for me. I will be returning.

I wanted to like these shoes. I have had success with this brand several times before. I didn’t feel that the blue color was “old lady” looking as some others have mentioned but the fit was just wrong. I did as the others reviewer mentioned and I opened all the velcro first, moved my foot to where it should go and secured the straps. Somehow, my foot continued to slide the bottom, leaving a gap where my toes should be. Too bad because the cushioning in this shoe was so wonderful. I hope you have better luck!!

They were so cute in the picture, but sent them back. When I looked down, I felt like I was 100+ years old. They look very clunky and made for a much older person. Thank you Zappos!

I love the colors and playful design. Unfortunately they feel like they are going to come off when walking. They never have but I’m constantly gripping with my toes. I kept them though for just around the house and yard.

Maybe I AM an “old lady”, but I love these shoes! I think of myself as fashionable, if not a fashion maven! I love the denim color it will go with so many different outfits. I love the fit – with just the slightest of heel so I feel like I’m not wearing orthopedic shoes, yet they are very comfortable and I can wear them all day – but a nicely fashioned shoe.

I really love the L’Artiste line! I have really tough feet – they are wide & have a high arch (think Fred Flinstone feet!!!). I typically wear a 9 1/2 wide or 10. While some complain that these shoes run short, I find them the perfect length and they accommodate my other sizing issues. They’re very comfortable, with good arch support. I like the style – they’ll go with everything & look a little nicer than flip flops 🙂

these sandal were so wide I didn’t even need to try them on. I can usually snug up a sandal with velcro closures- I have a narrow foot – but these shoes were so wide there was no way to do that. The colors and design were beautiful. I was sad to send them back.

I have a very narrow foot so the ability to tighten all straps by Velcro closer is what makes this sandal work for me!

Love these shoes! I already had them in navy and they are so comfy and cute so I had to get the gray ones! I love the adjustable straps…works well for wide feet.
