Blue –
The red is a beautiful color and the leatherwork is pretty. I do not feel they are comfortable in the heel because although slightly padded, the rim of the heel portion cuts into the foot. There is no arch support and due to the style of the shoe, an insert would be visible. The style was okay, but the high vamp is not flattering nor is the extra wide strap. The heel height, leather, and sole of the shoe are very nice.

This shoe I was reticent to order. I felt like it would look TOO glossy and have a cumbersome look. In black I was prepared to not be as enamored.Not the case. The toe bed was just as it looked in the pictures. I was relieved to find them soft and comfortable. I have a problem with some of Spring Steps to have a problem with right ball of the foot, gladly not this shoe. They are comfortable and look good. They are better than the picture.

This is a great little heel. As with other L’Artiste shoes, I have found that I need to go a half size smaller. I believe that this shoe should be re-supplied by Zappos, because it is a good one, once you find your correct size! That is probably the reason that it is almost sold out !

I have a pair of Belen’s by L’Artiste by Spring Step which I love, but these just weren’t quite right for the specific purpose I need. I have a low profile foot with a very narrow heel, so I look for a strap to keep my foot in the shoe. Without a sock, the strap across the front of this shoe cut across my ankle a bit uncomfortably, but that’s likely because I had to tighten it quite a bit to compensate for my narrow heels. Cute, but not the right shoe for my foot.

I love how this shoe fits ! The L’Artiste brand runs a good length, so I needed to take only a size 38 in this ( and others) That is a 7.5-8 range. In other European shoes, I have often worn a size 39 ! I love the little heel, and the closed toe. Bring in more of these Zappos , in every color of the rainbow !

I love this shoe. I have it in blue and now in red. Both colors are beautiful. I have bunions and these shoes are comfortable enough to wear several hours. The heel height is perfect.

Wasn’t a fan of this one. The front vamp is out of proportion to the shoe, which made it look clumsy. I’m a 10.5 and 42 fit well.

Beautiful shoe that fits securely and comfortably, BUT it was too short. I have long narrow feet (size 9.5 usually). I fell between sizes on this shoe. The 40 was too short, but otherwise fit. The 41 got too sloppy on my foot, though the length was right. Bummer, because it’s a fantastic bit of foot art. The L’Artiste sandals in the same size (40) fit my foot much better. The strap allowed some wiggle room in the length so my toes didn’t hit the end, while the rest of the shoe was comfortable enough on my narrow foot.

It is a lovely shoe, felt sturdy, but was way too narrow. I would have to have a wide in this one. Unfortunately I am returning it.

The instep was not supportive and seemed to be in the wrong place. Though the toe box was roomy the shoes seemed narrower than expected. There was good balance in the sole, however, and the shoes were not as heavy as they look. If the fit would have been better, I would have loved these shoes.

Pretty in so many ways but tight as an 8. Also a little tough on the heels. I wanted to like these more.

They run a bit smaller so it’s tricky when you have to choose a size range. There’s a higher lip on the back above the heel. That’s been irritating my heel but you have to wear them to realize that. The style is great. Fit, not so much.
