Cindy –
I love these boots but they just weren’t comfortable for me. I blame that on my feet, not the beautiful footwear! The size seems right on, the quality is excellent and the colors are subtle enough to go with almost everything.
My goal is still to own a pair of L’Artiste shoes or boots!

These boots are so cute. They fit well…true to size and are comfortable. Very versatile boot that can be worn with jeans or dress pants for work. I love this artsy brand!

These shoes manage to both make my fairly-wide size 41 feet look petit and feel roomy in the toe. Shoe magic! They also have a fair bit of squish in the insole (though it feels a bit flimsy, like it’ll compress quickly). The issue though is the material quality. The shiny material on the side feels very cheap and poor quality. I can envision the design flaking off with regular wear. within the year The lining also feels cheap and very synthetic. The kind of material that doesn’t breathe at all and would make feet sweaty.
* I don’t understand why we can’t get good quality women’s shoes at a good price. My honey just got some very cool leather dress boots that are leather lined for breathability and feel like they will last. And his shoes were $30 less than the Marty-Met.

Wow – these look like works of art and are very well-cushioned to walk in. I love the side zipper with the look of a lace up. The design is very stylish and unique. It adds that extra flair that is so hard to find in a bootie / ankle high winter shoe. I danced in these for over 2 hours and then walk 2 miles home (in uneven Manhattan streets.) The sizing offered a bit more room than usual, which worked out great and eliminated any potential hot spots from rubbing. I bought the navy because the black was out of stock and I’m so happy I did because it looks fantastic with jeans. Its a beautiful, rich deep navy that almost looks black but not as harsh. The rubber sole makes for soft steps as well. I think this may be my new favorite brand.
