These are my new favorite shoes for fall. I plan to wear them with jeans and dresses, too. SO COMFORTABLE, they feel like I have slippers on!

These look better in the picture. Not a bad fit and comfort level was reasonable…but they look too inexpensive for their $109 price tag.

Really comfortable! I can wear them all day long and my days are long…

Having totally lucked out with my first pair of L’Artiste shoes: Lavelle peep toe sandal “Wonder Win” for perfect scores on fit, comfort, absolute cuteness and charm, plus soft pliable leather; it was natural to try the company for a pair of holiday dress shoes.
The first pair taught me that a low “skirt” of the toe (the part near the instep) fit right over my big toe joint,
causing immediate pain which had no way to be stretched or remedied; this above, second choice covered my toes and instep nicely, but the lesson here is that with older or more sensitive feet, the toe bed was unpadded and too thin to be comfortable for walking (not to mention COLD during winter).
L’Artiste’s design sense lives up to their name being consistently creative, inventive, with an absolute charm
with color combination and use, so I shall continue to try until I’ve got another perfect pair.
My feet are small, wide, with longish toes, so every aspect of the shoe has to be just right, and after years of
getting shoes not wide enough, and living through the discomfort of breaking them in to an extreme, I was not willing to torture myself anymore, and went to Dansko and Jambu.
Though probably only a smallish percent of purchasers share my kind of feet, I am writing for them, because I appreciate every one else who gives a complete, honest and thoughtful review!
If you don’t mind thin soles, this is a darling shoe, and looks more refined on, especially shadowed under a
skirt. The wide chisled strap coupled with the smooth bright red is really interesting and fetching.

I love these shoes. Not only are they snazzy (everyone who saw them on me commented on the style) they are comfortable. I love the color red with the contrasting heel and will probably order them in another color. I have some nasty bunions and was concerned that the shoe may hurt after a while but surprise no pain. I could not be happier with the fit and style of this shoe.

I have narrow feet and don’t usually wear heels. These are comfortable, easy to walk in and look great.

The leather is soft, it will loosen up as you wear them
The black heels are perfect- I’m thinking about the red!

The shoes looked great and fit well but they smelled of gasoline. while I did not send my pair back. I would not recommend these and I’m surprised that Zappos sold them given the fact that the box and shoes reeked of gasoline odor.
I left mine outside overnight to try airing them out and is barely made a dent in the smell. I’m surprised they don’t spontaneously combust.
Wouldn’t –
The design on the heel was scuffed off after 3 days of wearing it.

I got the black. Gorgeous shoe and surprisingly comfortable. Only hit the comfort limit when I had to spend 3+ hours standing on concrete in the hot sun for a work function after an already full day of wearing them in an office setting. I get consistent compliments.

These may be the most beautiful shoes I have every owned, and they are shockingly comfortable. They are amazing!

Really cute! I ordered the red and while I like the style, the red is just too red–sorta fire engine and not a shade I care for. They looked more ox blood online.

These are really cute and add a little pizazz to an outfit. They felt a little big to me but I put some pads in which worked fine.

I took a chance on these and wore them straight out of the box to work without any sort of sock, liner, or anything between my bare foot and the shoes. I worked an 8 hour day with a lot of standing and walking, and came home that evening without any blisters or sore spots on my feet! I was comfortable in them all day. This is my new favorite shoe!

I normally wear an 8 but that was not an option. Based on some reviews I decided to try the 8.5 because I love the look. The shoes are a little bit too large but the strap keeps my foot from slipping too much. They are comfortable right out of the box.

Sorry, but these don’t compare to the L’Artiste (Wondrous) shoes I bought a few years ago. THOSE are made from a nice leather and are supple like leather should be. THESE look and feel cheap. I understand everything is made in China now, but I’d advise you to find a good pair of shoes made from good leather. Good luck.

This shoes are very pretty and comfortable. They are true to size.

Love love love. I need a little more arch support than most so a little insert and they are perfect. Loathe designs. The sturdy craftsmanship without being clunkers makes these timeless.
Lyn –
I love all my L’Artiste shoes but was a little leery about getting heels. These are absolutely fantastic, very comfortable, no strain on my toes at all.

These fit true to size, I am a true 8.5 and was happy in that size. Also, very comfortable. I am not a wearer of heels, but these don’t hurt my feet. Great purchase.

Fit was good. Style is outstanding. Disappointing: Velcro closures; seem ‘cheap’ and are a likely source of failure in the future as the velcro wears out. Also–velcro will snag any tights or stockings –so limits options for wearing these shoes.
Kristina –
beautiful design and crafting on this shoe. the heel is unique & well done design. ankle straps are adjustable with Velcro which adds ankle support and stability. the color is not what most would call GREY, however they are more of a TAUPE or GREIGE which I find much more Versatile able to go with black, white, grey, browns, reds etc. For a high heel they are a great option for dressy , or even jeans if you have the knees & hips for heels?. I blew my knees out years ago wearing 6” stilettos ? so these are a good option when you need heels. I recommend but may need to size down.

Gorgeous shoe, but the toe box is long for my high arched feet. It irritated my inner arch and I would’ve had blisters. Too bad!
Carla –
I love them! So beautiful and comfortable. I received a lot of compliments also when wearing them.

My second pair: Black and now the natural beige. They fit little wider and this is great for me. Happy toes. Tney look fine, elegant casual with dress or pants. Not necessary to break put. Like a glove! I love this brand. And padding!!!!
