These Waterlili L Artiste, Spring Step boots are so beautiful that my jaw dropped when they arrived. The pretty picture does not do them justice . The price is also great. I wanted so much to keep them, but they run just a little bit narrow for me, so I sent them back and purchased the Olevea, also by Spring Step, in the same size. I don’t want to say that they run narrow, but that they are slightly more narrow than the Olivea which are a better fit for me.

These boots fit perfectly and there is room for a thin sock as I bought them just in my size. Very pretty. I bought fur ankle cuffs to go around the top to hide the gap around my leg. That way they are also pretty to wear with winter skirts.

I am a size 7 medium…always. These fit just like they should. Great heal height too. I like that they are not so “loose” at the top of the boot. (They fit closer to the calves without being tight and not so much space between the boot and leg if you will). So they will go great with dresses as well as jeans or leggings. I LOVE the look of these boots. They aren’t your run of the mill looking shoe.

My wide foot has a high arch and a high in-step. Length-wise, I wear a 5.5 – 6. For heels, 6 is always the way to go (foot slides forward). These do not require inserts for arch support or cut into my in-step. There’s the boring fit info. Now a word from a boot lover: I wear black clothes. I like black. I think the black version of these is really cute but I bought red to wear with slacks and long skirts (all black) to add a rare bit of color. They’re noticeable without being loud, they’re as pretty as the photo suggests, they’re fun to wear, & I always get compliments when I wear them. I did spray them with a leather protector with no change in color or texture.

I bought these for an outdoor wedding; I was the mother of the groom. Had a sparkly dress and these boots. Sooooo many compliments. Even the groomsmen noticed them. The photographer literally took a closeup photo of my boots… Enough bronze highlights to have flash, but subtle enough that you have to look for it. Super comfortable. I don’t wear heels. These had just enough heel, but not enough to be a challenge on uneven ground. Absolutely beautiful. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

I love these boots and plan to wear them at our daughter’s wedding. My floor length dress is navy. They’re very pretty and actually comfortable. My only grump is the right boot feels a bit tighter in the toe box than the left boot. That’s not a normal problem for me. But I’m going to keep them and just wear socks of different thickness. Hopefully the right boot will stretch with wear. In the photo, I was also trying another style which was comfortable & pretty too, but a little over the top for me.

These have been my most favorite shoes ever. I receive complements on these all the time. I wore them to a small group meeting the other day (maybe 16-18 people) and three of them complemented my boots! I’m actually ordering a new, identical pair because I’ve worn the bejesus out of the soles. Also, the heel is just the perfect hight for walking longer distances without issue.
